Singer/songwriter Leland (aka Brett McLaughlin) and Bram Inscore have composed the score for the upcoming teen comedy Sierra Burgess Is a Loser. The movie is directed by Ian Samuels and stars Shannon Purser, Kristine Froseth, RJ Cyler, Noah Centineo, Chrissy Metz, Alan Ruck and Lea Thompson. The movie follows a smart high school girl who teams up with a more popular girl hoping to win over her crush. Lindsey Beer (Chaos Walking) wrote the screenplay. Molly Smith, Rachel Smith, Trent Luckinbill and Thad Luckinbill (Sicario, Only the Brave, 12 Strong) are producing the Black Label Media production. Sierra Burgess Is a Loser is set to premiere on September 7, 2018 exclusively on Netflix.
