S. Craig Zahler and composer Jeff Herriott are reteaming to compose the music for the upcoming crime thriller Dragged Across Concrete. The film is written and directed by Zahler and stars Mel Gibson, Vince Vaughn, Don Johnson, Jennifer Carpenter, Michael Jai White and Tattiawna Jones. The movie revolves around an old guard policeman an his volatile younger partner who find themselves suspended when a video of their strong-arming tactics become the media’s special du jour. Keith Kjarval (A Single Shot, Rudderless), Dallas Sonnier, Sefton Fincham (What They Had) and Jack Heller are producing the project. Zahler and Herriott have previously co-written the score and original songs for Zahler’s Bone Tomahawk and Brawl in Cell Block 99. Dragged Across Concrete is expected to premiere later this year and will be distributed in the U.S. by Lionsgate.
