I’ve got two GWANGI “collections”, per se.
In 1995, the City of Prague Philharmonic released “The Valley of Gwangi (The Classic Film Music of Jerome Moross”, which included suites and pieces from a number of Moross film scores, as well as three separate pieces from The Valley of Gwangi itself:
* VALLEY OF GWANGI, THE – The Landscape / Forbidden Valley / Pterodactyl Attack
* VALLEY OF GWANGI, THE – Capture Of Gwangi / Gwangi Enchained
* VALLEY OF GWANGI, THE – Night In The Valley / Gwangi At The Cathedral / Finale
The City of Prague Philharmonic later included “The Valley of Gwangi (Suite)” on their 2005 release, “The Fantasy Album: Adventure and Fantasy Film Themes”.
I’ve always wanted the full score, and will be ordering from Intrada today. Thanks for the heads-up!
