Dhani Harrison & Paul Hicks (Learning to Drive, Good Girls Revolt, Beautiful Creatures, White Famous, The Divide) have composed the original score for the upcoming documentary MATANGI / MAYA / M.I.A. The film is directed by Stephen Loveridge and centers on rapper/singer-songwriter, Mathangi “Maya” Arulpragasam aka M.I.A. Drawn from a never before seen cache of personal footage spanning decades, the movie captures Maya’s journey from immigrant teenager in London to international popstar M.I.A. Lori Cheatle, Andrew Goldman & Paul Mezey (Sugar, Beach Rats, Cold Souls) are producing the project. MATANGI / MAYA / M.I.A. will premiere tomorrow at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival.
