Heitor Pereira is reuniting with director Raja Gosnell (Never Been Kissed, Scooby-Doo, Big Momma’s House) on the upcoming family comedy Show Dogs. The film starring Will Arnett, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Natasha Lyonne, Jordin Sparks, Gabriel Iglesias, Shaquille O’Neal, Alan Cumming and Stanley Tucci revolves around the unlikely pairing of a human detective and his canine partner who has to go undercover at the world’s most exclusive dog show to solve his biggest case yet. Max Botkin (What Happened to Monday) & Marc Hyman (Osmosis Jones, The Perfect Score) wrote the screenplay. Deepak Nayar (Bend It Like Beckham, City of Ghosts, Sense8) and Philip von Alvensleben are producing the project. Pereira has previously scored Gosnell’s last three features, Beverly Hills Chihuahua, The Smurfs and The Smurfs 2. Pereira (Despicable Me, Minions) also has the animated features Smallfoot and the untitled Playmobil movie coming up. He also scored the drama Please Stand By starring drama Please Stand By starring Dakota Fanning, Toni Collette & Alice Eve, which will be released in select theaters and on VOD on January 26.
