Nonesuch Records will release the official soundtrack album for Paul Thomas Anderson’s Phantom Thread. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jonny Greenwood who recorded his score with the London Contemporary Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The soundtrack is expected to be released digitally next month. The CD version is set to come out on January 19, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon and the vinyl version is available to order here. Check out the trailer, which features the composer’s score after the jump. The label has previously released Greenwood’s music for Anderson’s There Will Be Blood, The Master and Inherent Vice. Phantom Thread is written and directed by Anderson and stars Daniel Day-Lewis, Lesley Manville and Vicky Krieps. The drama will be released in select theaters on December 25, 2017 by Focus Features.
