MKVA will release soundtrack album for the comedy The Death of Stalin. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christopher Willis (Veep, The Lion Guard, Agatha Raisin). The soundtrack will be released digitally on November 17, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. The Death of Stalin is co-written and directed by Armando Iannucci (In the Loop) and stars Adrian McLoughlin, Steve Buscemi, Simon Russell Beale, Rupert Friend, Jason Isaacs, Michael Palin, Jeffrey Tambor, Andrea Riseborough, Paddy Considine and Olga Kurylenko. The movie is based on the French graphic novel by Fabien Nury & Thierry Robin and chronicles the chaotic days before Joseph Stalin’s funeral, marked by fierce infighting for the supreme power. The comedy was released last month in the UK and will be released in the U.S. by IFC Films.
