The full details of the soundtrack album for the sports comedy drama Battle of the Sexes have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Nicholas Britell (Moonlight, The Big Short, Free State of Jones, A Tale of Love and Darkness). Also included is the original song If I Dare performed by Sara Bareilles (co-written by the singer/songwriter and Britell), which is already available as a digital single, as well as songs by Elton John, George Harrison & more. The soundtrack will be released physically on September 29, 2017 by Sony Masterworks and can be pre-ordered on Amazon. A digital release will be released later this week (click here to download). Battle of the Sexes is directed by Valerie Faris & Jonathan Dayton and stars Steve Carell, Andrea Riseborough, Sarah Silverman, Bill Pullman, Alan Cumming, Elisabeth Shue and Austin Stowell. The movie tells the story of the electrifying 1973 tennis match between World number one Billie Jean King and ex-champ and serial hustler Bobby Riggs.
