The details for the soundtrack album for the French biographical drama Gauguin have been announced. The album features the film’s original music composed by Warren Ellis (The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, Hell or High Water, Wind River, Lawless, The Proposition). Also included are four tracks by Nick Cave & Ellis from their White Lunar compilation. The soundtrack will be released overseas digitally and physically on September 22, 2017 by Milan Records. The movie tells the story of French post-Impressionist artist Paul Gaugin and will be released in French theaters on September 20. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal and release date.
