Dwayne Wayans is the composer of the new NBC comedy Marlon. The show is created by Christopher Moynihan & Marlon Wayans who also stars in the series with Essence Atkins, Notlim Taylor, Amir O’Neil, Bresha Webb and Diallo Riddle. The comedy is inspired by the real life of Marlon Wayans and centers on a loving (but immature) father committed to co-parenting his two kids with his very-together ex-wife. Moynihan and Wayans are also executive producing the Universal Television production with Rick Alvarez (Fifty Shades of Black, White Chicks), Michael Rotenberg (Silicon Valley, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), as well as Andy Ackerman (The New Adventures of Old Christine) who also directed the pilot episode. Dwayne Wayans has previously scored shows including My Wife and Kids and The Underground, as well as the 2009 feature Dance Flick for his brother Marlon. Marlon will premiere on August 16, 2017 and air Wednesday nights on NBC. Visit the official show website for updates.
