Producer Jeph Loeb announced at Comic-Con today that Sean Callery is scoring Marvel’s upcoming TV series Inhumans and is recording his music for the project with a 70-piece orchestra. The show developed by Scott Buck (Dexter, Iron Fist) based on the comic book series of the same title stars Anson Mount, Iwan Rheon, Serinda Swan, Eme Ikwuakor, Isabelle Cornish, Ken Leung, Ellen Woglom, Sonya Balmores and Mike Moh. The show explores the adventure of the royal family including Black Bolt, the enigmatic, commanding King of the Inhumans, with a voice so powerful that the slightest whisper can destroy a city. Buck is also executive producing the Marvel Television and ABC Studios production with Loeb & Jim Chory (Daredevil, Luke Cage, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.). Callery has previously scored Marvel’s Netflix series Jessica Jones. Inhumans will premiere on September 29, 2017 on ABC. The first two episodes will also be shown on September 1 in select IMAX theaters around the world. Visit the official show website for updates.
Callery (24, Bones) will also return to score the seventh season of Showtime’s Homeland, which is set to premiere in 2018, as well as the second season of ABC’s Designated Survivor, which he is co-scoring with Robert Lydecker.
