Gregory Tripi is currently scoring the upcoming Discovery anthology mini-series Manhunt: Unabomber. The show is created by Andrew Sodroski and stars Sam Worthington, Paul Bettany, Chris Noth, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Jane Lynch, Mark Duplass, Brian d’Arcy James, Trieste Kelly Dunn, Elizabeth Reaser and Rebecca Henderson. The drama’s first season tells the true story of how the FBI tracked down notorious Unabomber Ted Kaczynski, told from the point of view of the FBI profiler in charge of the manhunt. Sodroski is also executive producing the project with Greg Yaitanes (Banshee, House) who serves as the showrunner. Manhunt: Unabomber will premiere on August 1, 2017 on Discovery. Tripi whose previous scoring credits include the thriller Dark Places and the video game Twisted Metal also has scored the sci-fi drama Rememory co-written and directed by Mark Palansky (Penelope) and starring Peter Dinklage, Julia Ormond, Martin Donovan, Anton Yelchin, Henry Ian Cusick and Evelyne Brochu. The movie produced by Lee Clay (Comet) & Daniel Bekerman (The Witch) follows the widow of a wise professor who stumbles upon one of his inventions that’s able to record and play a person’s memory. The drama premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and will be released in the U.S. this September.
