This coming Thursday, June 29, the Television Academy will be hosting a concert celebrating music written for television. Words + Music will feature the live performance of original songs and scores from the composers of top shows from the past TV season. Participating composers include Mac Quayle (Mr. Robot), Siddhartha Khosla (This Is Us), Jeff Russo (Fargo, The Night Of), Sean Callery (Homeland), Nathan Barr (The Americans) and Pedro Bromfman (Narcos). Accompanied by an ensemble under direction of music director/composer and Rickey Minor (American Idol) who is organizing the event with composer and TV Academy governor Michael A. Levine (Cold Case), the concert will take place on June 29 at the Saban Media Center’s Wolf Theatre at the Television Academy’s campus in North Hollywood.
