Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for Bryan Bertino’s horror thriller The Monster. The album features the film’s original music composed by tomandandy (The Mothman Prophecies, 47 Meters Down, The Rules of Attraction, The Hills Have Eyes) who previously scored the director’s The Strangers. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, June 23, and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Monster is written and directed by Bertino and stars Zoe Kazan, Ella Ballentine, Aaron Douglas, Christine Ebadi, Marc Hickox and Scott Speedman. The movie follows a divorced mother and her headstrong daughter who must fight for survival when a terrifying monster attacks them after their car breaks down on a deserted country road. The thriller was released in select theaters and on VOD last fall by A24.
