Variety is reporting that Radiohead member Thom Yorke will be scoring the remake of Suspiria. The film is directed by Luca Guadagnino (I Am Love, A Bigger Splash) and stars Tilda Swinton, Dakota Johnson, Mia Goth and Chloë Grace Moretz. The movie based on Dario Argento’s 70s classic is set in 1977 Berlin and follows a young American woman who joins a prestigious dance company, when one of the members mysteriously disappears. David Kajganich (True Story, Blood Creek) wrote the screenplay. Marco Morabito (Call Me by Your Name) and Brad Fischer (Shutter Island, Zodiac) are producing the Amazon Studios production.The project marks Yorke’s narrative feature scoring debut. Suspiria is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere later this year.
