Adam Taylor has composed the original music for the upcoming comedy drama Before I Fall. The film is directed by Ry Russo-Young (Nobody Walks) and stars Zoey Deutch, Halston Sage, Logan Miller, Kian Lawley, Elena Kampouris, Diego Boneta, Jennifer Beals, Cynthy Wu and Medalion Rahimi. The movie is based on the 2010 novel of same title by Lauren Oliver and follows a young woman who is stuck reliving the day of her death during one inexplicable week and untangles the mystery surrounding her death. Maria Maggenti (Monte Carlo, The Love Letter) has written the screenplay. Brian Robbins (Smallville, Hardball, Varsity Blues), Matt Kaplan (The Lazarus Effect, Visions) and Jon Shestack (Air Force One, Dan in Real Life) are producing the Awesomeness Films production. Before I Fall will be released nationwide on March 3, 2017 by Open Road Films.
Taylor who is best known for his score to last year’s Meadowland and his contributions for August: Osage County also has the sci-fi drama Curvature directed by Diego Hallivis and starring Lyndsy Fonseca, Linda Hamilton, Glenn Morshower and Noah Bean, as well as the documentary Refugee directed by Xander Farrell about the people travelling through the main ‘migrant routes’ into northern Europe coming up.
