Marco Beltrami and Dennis Smith have been hired to score the upcoming History original series Six. The show is created by William Broyles (Cast Away, Apollo 13, The Polar Express) & military special operations veteran David Broyles and stars Walton Goggins, Edwin Hodge, Dominic Adams, Brianne Davis, Nadine Velazquez, Jaylen Moore, Donny Boaz and Nondumiso Tembe. The military drama follows the Navy SEAL Team Six, whose 2014 mission to eliminate a Taliban leader in Afghanistan goes awry when they uncover a U.S. citizen working as a jihadist fighter with the terrorists. William & David Broyles are also executive producing the A+E Studios production with Harvey & Bob Weinstein and David Glasser for the Weinstein Company, Alfredo Barrios, Jr. (Burn Notice), George W. Perkins (Desperate Housewives), Nicolas Chartier (The Hurt Locker) and Lesli Linka Glatter (Homeland) who also directed the first two episodes. Beltrami and Smith previously co-scored the first season of Fox’s Lucifer. Beltrami’s upcoming projects also include Angelina Jolie’s Netflix original movie First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers, as well as the Russian drama Matilda. He also continues to score AMC’s Turn, which will return for a fourth and final season in 2017.
