Stewart is also executive producing the SilverScreen Pictures production with Wendy Finerman (Forest Gump, The Devil Wears Prada, Stepmom) and Lisa Zupan (Drumline: A New Beat). The 10th Date is set to premiere in 2017 on Lifetime.
Karpman and Saadiq are also expected to return to score the second season of WGN America’s Underground, which will premiere next year. Karpman’s recent projects also include the romantic comedy Paris Can Wait starring Diane Lane. The movie recently premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and was picked up for a theatrical release in 2017 by Sony Pictures Classics.
Saadiq’s other upcoming projects include the new HBO original series Insecure. The show is created by Issa Rae & Larry Wilmore and stars Rae, alongside Yvonne Orji, Jay Ellis and Lisa Joyce. Rae is also executive producing the project with Prentice Penny, Melina Matsoukas, Michael Rotenberg (Silicon Valley, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) Dave Becky and Jonathan Berry (Louie, Master of None, Baskets). Insecure will premiere on October 9 and will air every Sunday night on HBO. Visit the official show website for more information.
