Alberto Iglesias is set to compose the music for the upcoming political thriller The Summit (La Cordillera). The film is directed by Santiago Mitre (Paulina, The Student) and stars Ricardo Darin, Dolores Fonzi, Erica Rivas, Elena Anaya, Gerardo Romano, Paulina Garcia, Alfredo Castro and Daniel Gimenez Cacho. The movie revolves around the president of Argentina whose darkest past threatens to catch up with him at a three-day conference, forcing him to choose between his career and family. The project is produced by Argentina’s K & S and La Union de los Rios, Spain’s MOD Producciones and France’s Maneki Films. The Summit started principal photography earlier this week in Argentina. A release in 2017 is expected. (Variety)
