Netflix has published a video featurette on the music for Marvel’s upcoming series Luke Cage. The video features interviews with composers Adrian Younge & Ali Shaheed Muhammad of A Tribe Called Quest, executive producer Cheo Hodari Coker, actor Mike Colter, as well as A$AP Ferg and Method Man who talk about how each episode is shaped by its score and musical influence. Luke Cage starring Colter, Mahershala Ali, Alfre Woodard, Simone Missick, Theo Rossi, Frank Whaley and Sônia Braga follows Cage as he becomes a fugitive trying to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City after a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin. The drama will premiere on September 30, 2016 on Netflix.
