Nathan Furst is reteaming with director Scott Waugh on the upcoming thriller 6 Below. The film starring Josh Harnett, Sarah Dumont, Mira Sorvino and Nathan Stevens. The movie tells the true story of former Olympic hockey player Eric LeMarque who survived eight days following a snowboarding accident – and came to terms with his drug addiction and destructive behavior. Madison Turner has written the screenplay. Tucker Tooley (Limitless, A Man Apart) is producing the project with Simon Swart and Brad Pilz. Furst has previously scored Waugh’s first two features, Act of Valor and Need for Speed. 6 Below is currently in post-production and is expected to be released in 2017.
