Quartet Records will release a soundtrack album for the Spanish family adventure Zip and Zap and the Captain’s Island (Zipi y Zape y la Isla del Capitán). The album features the film’s original music composed by Fernando Velazquez (The Orphanage, The Impossible, Mama, Crimson Peak, Hercules, Devil). The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 29, 2016 and can be pre-ordered on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples and check out the track list. A physical version is also available on the label’s official website. The label has previously released the composer’s soundtrack for the first film in the series, Zip & Zap and the Marble Gang (Zipi y Zape y el club de la canica). Zip and Zap and the Captain’s Island is directed by Oskar Santos who also scored 2013’s first part and stars Elena Anaya, Teo Planell, Toni Gómez and Fermí Reixac. The movie will be released in Spain on July 29. No word yet on a domestic release.
