Timothy Williams has been hired to score the upcoming thriller I.T.. The film is directed by John Moore and stars Pierce Brosnan, Stefanie Scott, Anna Friel, James Frecheville and Michael Nyqvist. The movie follows a successful owner of a private jet business who finds himself pitted against a disgruntled young I.T. consultant who begins stalking his daughter and using technology to threaten his family, business and life. William Wisher (Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Judge Dredd) has written the screenplay based on an earlier script by Dan Kay. David T. Friendly (Little Miss Sunshine, Doctor Dolittle), Craig Flores (Charlie Countryman), Nicolas Chartier (The Hurt Locker, Killer Joe) and Beau St. Clair (The Thomas Crown Affair, Laws of Attraction) are producing the project. Moore’s last couple of movies, including A Good Day to Die Hard, The Omen and Flight of the Phoenix were scored by Marco Beltrami. I.T. is expected to be released later this year.
Williams whose previous scoring credits include Robert Duvall’s Wild Horses, the TV series Sym-Bionic Titan and Walking with the Enemy also has the thriller The Tank directed by Kellie Madison and starring Jack Davenport coming up.
