The Belgian alternative rock/electronic music duo of Soulwax has composed the music for Felix van Groeningen’s upcoming drama Belgica. The marks the director’s follow-up feature to 2012’s Academy Award-nominated film The Broken Circle Breakdown and stars Stef Aerts, Tom Vermeir, Charlotte Vandermeersch and Hélène Devos. The movie follows two brothers who start a bar and get swept up in its success in the midst of Belgium’s nightlife scene. Van Groeningen has also written the screenplay with Arne Sierens. Dirk Impens is producing the project. Belgica will have its world premiere next month at the Sundance Film Festival and will be released in Belgium in March.
