Dhani Harrison and Paul Hicks have composed the music for the Amazon Studios pilot Good Girls Revolt. The show is created by Dana Calvo (Made in Jersey) and stars Genevieve Angelson, Anna Camp, Erin Darke, Chris Diamantopoulos, Hunter Parrish, Jim Belushi, Joy Bryant and Grace Gummer as journalist Nora Ephron. The drama based on Lynn Povich’s book of the same title set in 1969 and follows a group of young female researchers at “News of the Week,” who simply ask to be treated fairly. Calvo is also executive producing the TriStar Television with Lynda Obst (Interstellar), Darlene Hunt (The Big C), Don Kurt (Justified) and Jeff Okin (Dark Skies). Liza Johnson (Hateship Loveship) has directed the pilot episode. Harrison’s and Hicks’ previous scoring credits as part of the alternative rock band thenewno2 include the features Beautiful Creatures, Learning to Drive and the WE tv series The Divide. The pilot episode of Good Girls Revolt is now available to stream on Amazon.
