Quartet Records has released a soundtrack album for Guillermo del Toro’s gothic romance Crimson Peak. The album features the film’s original music composed by Fernando Velazquez (Mama, The Orphanage, The Impossible, Devil, Hercules). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. A CD version is set to be released next month. Crimson Peak is co-written and directed by del Toro and stars Mia Wasikowska, Jessica Chastain, Tom Hiddleston, Charlie Hunnam and Jim Beaver. The movie is set in the aftermath of a family tragedy and follows an aspiring author who is torn between love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider. The romance was released last week by Universal Pictures and is now playing in theaters nationwide. Visit the official movie website for more information.
