Federico Jusid has been hired to score the upcoming thriller Hunter’s Prayer. The film is directed by Jonathan Mostow (U-571, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Breakdown) and stars Sam Worthington, Odeya Rush, Martin Compston, Amy Landecker and Verónica Echegui. The movie follows an assassin hired to kill a young girl. When he can’t bring himself to carry out the task, both are marked for death and hunted across Europe. Navid McIlhargey & Anthony Rhulen (The Butterfly Effect, The Rum Diary) are producing the project for Film Engine, Chris Milburn (An American Haunting, Getaway) for Midsummer Films, John & Michael Schwarz and Worthington for Full Clip, Paul Rock, Jimmy Costas and Paul Leyden. Hunter’s Prayer is currently in post-production and is expected to be released in 2016.
Jusid has also signed on to score the upcoming thriller Beyond Deceit. The film is directed by Shintaro Shimosawa and stars Al Pacino, Anthony Hopkins, Josh Duhamel, Alice Eve, Malin Ackerman, Byung-Hun Lee and Julia Stiles. The movie follows an ambitious young lawyer who takes on a case against a ruthless executive of a pharmaceutical company and finds himself drawn into a murder case in which he is the prime suspect. Beyond Deceit is also expected to premiere in 2016.
As previously reported, the composer also has the thriller Kidnap starring Halle Berry. The film was originally set to be released this fall by Relativity Media and is currently awaiting a new distribution deal.
