Nathan Halpern has been tapped to score the upcoming indie drama Sticky Notes. The film marks the directorial debut of screenwriter Amanda Harlib and stars Rose Leslie, Ray Liotta, Justin Bartha and Gina Rodriguez. The movie follows a backup dancer who returns home to Florida to help care for her estranged father after he’s diagnosed with cancer. Harlib also wrote the screenplay and Katie Mustard (Shelter) and Joe Jenckes (Margin Call) are producing the project. Sticky Notes is expected to premiere in 2016.
Halpern whose previous film scoring credits include the documentaries Marina Abramovic: The Artist Is Present and Rich Hill, as well as the supernatural thriller One & Two starring Kiernan Shipka, which has just been released in select theaters and on VOD.
