Jeff Toyne has signed on to score the upcoming indie drama Life on the Line. The film is directed by David Hackl (Saw V, Into the Grizzly Maze) and stars John Travolta, Kate Bosworth and Devon Sawa. The movie follows a crew of eccentric linemen who do the high-wire work of fixing the electrical grid and are hit by a sudden deadly storm. Primo Brown, Dylan Scott and Peter Horton have written the screenplay. Marvin Peart (The Perfect Holiday) and Phillip Glasser are producing the Marro Films production. No word yet on a release date for Life on the Line.
Toyne also continues to score DirecTV’s Rogue. The third season of the show currently airs on DirecTV’s Audience Channel.
