Varese Sarabande has announced the latest releases in their CD Club series. Among the titles is a deluxe edition soundtrack for the 1990 sequel Gremlins 2: The New Batch directed by Joe Dante and starring Zach Galligan and Phoebe Cates. The album features the expanded original score from the movie composed by Academy Award winner Jerry Goldsmith (Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Alien, Chinatown, Planet of the Apes, The Omen), including previously unreleased music. Tempted to buy Outbreak. I really didn’t (and still don’t, honestly) care for the film but its score is one I otherwise don’t own and I could do with adding a couple more JNH titles to my library.
