Goliath Entertainment will release a soundtrack album for the French drama Far from Men (Loin des hommes). The album features the film’s original music composed by Nick Cave & Warren Ellis (The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, The Proposition, Lawless). The soundtrack will be released on May 19, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Far from Men is written and directed by David Oelhoffen and stars Viggo Mortensen and Reda Kateb. The movie is loosely based on the short story The Guest by Albert Camus and follows a French teacher in a small Algerian village in 1957 during Algeria’s war of independence from France who is ordered to take a dissident to the authorities to turn him in, but the two men unexpectedly bond. The drama premiered at last year’s Venice and Toronto Film Festival and will be released on VOD on April 14 and in select U.S. theaters on May 1 by Tribeca Film.
