MovieScore Media will release a soundtrack album for the Danish TV series 1864. The album features selections from the show’s original music composed by Marco Beltrami (Scream, Snowpiercer, 3:10 to Yuma, World War Z). The soundtrack will be released on December 16, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out audio clips below. 1864 is created by Ole Bornedal (Nightwatch, I Am Dina) and stars Pilou Asbæk, Jakob Oftebro, Marie Tourell Søderberg, Sidse Babett Knudsen and Søren Malling. The 8-part drama centers on the conflict between Denmark and Prussia, which resulted in more than 5,000 Danish deaths and the loss of one-third of Danish territory. The series premiered earlier this year in Denmark.
