Audio clips of the soundtrack album for Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies have been published online. The film’s music is composed by Howard Shore who previously scored the first two movies in the series, as well as The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Both versions of the soundtrack will be released domestically on December 16 by WaterTower Music and are available for pre-order on Amazon (standard edition) and here (deluxe edition). The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies starring Martin Freeman, Ian McKellen, Richard Armitage, Luke Evans, Benedict Cumberbatch, Cate Blanchett, Evangeline Lilly, Lee Pace, Ian Holm, Christopher Lee, Orlando Bloom, Ken Stott, James Nesbitt and Hugo Weaving will be released on December 17, 2014 by Warner Bros.
