Back Lot Music will release a soundtrack album for the biographical drama The Theory of Everything. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jóhann Jóhannsson (Prisoners, McCanick). The soundtrack will be released on November 4, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Audio clips will be posted on this page soon. The Theory of Everything is directed by James Marsh (Man on Wire, Shadow Dancer) and stars Eddie Redmayne as physicist Stephen Hawkins and Felicity Jones as Jane Wilde, the arts student he fell in love with when he attended Cambridge in the 1960s. Charlie Cox, Emily Watson, David Thewlis, Lesley Manville, Simon McBurney, Maxine Peake and Harry Lloyd are co-starring in the drama, which premiered at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival. Focus Features will release the movie on November 7 in select cities followed by a national rollout throughout the rest of the month. To learn more about the film, visit the official movie website.
