Lakeshore Records has announced a new soundtrack release for the British animated feature Postman Pat: The Movie. The album features the film’s original score composed and conducted by Rupert Gregson-Williams (Hotel Rwanda, Over the Hedge, Click, Bee Movie, Winter’s Tale). The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 23, 2014 and physically on October 21. Audio clips will be added to this article soon. Polydor has previously released a soundtrack album featuring the film’s songs, as well as a suite from Gregson-Williams’ score overseas earlier this year. Postman Pat: The Movie is directed by Mike Disa and features the voice talent of Ronan Keating, Rupert Grind, Stephen Mangan, Jim Broadbent, Kate Winslet and David Tennant. The movie based on the British TV series of the same title opened overseas this past May and in select U.S. theaters in June. The soundtrack release coincides with the film’s domestic DVD release on September 23.
