Premiering on Friday, September 12, is the Syfy original series Z Nation created by Karl Schaefer and starring Harold Perrineau, Tom Everett Scott, DJ Qualls, Michael Welch, Kellita Smith and Anastasia Baranova. Jason Gallagher who is best known as a member of the rock band Leroy Justice is composing the show’s original score. Z Nation takes place there years after a zombie virus has gutted the country and follows a team of everyday heroes must transport the only known survivor of the plague from New York to California, where the last functioning viral lab waits for his blood. Premiering on Saturday, September 13, is the Lifetime original movie Deliverance Creek executive produced by Nicholas Sparks, directed by Jon Amiel and starring Lauren Ambrose, Wes Ramsey, Yaani King, Caitlin Custer, Christopher Backus, Riley Smith, Katherine Willis and Christopher Baker. The film’s original music is composed by Emmy Award winner Jim Dooley (Pushing Daisies, Obsessed, When a Stranger Calls, Wilfred).
