Craig Wedren has composed the score for the upcoming comedy Search Party. The film marks the directorial debut of screenwriter/producer Scot Armstrong (Old School, Road Trip, Starsky & Hutch) and stars T.J. Miller, Adam Pally, Thomas Middleditch, Lance Reddick, Shannon Woodward, Alison Brie and Krysten Ritter. The movie centers around two roommates who go to serious lengths to save their friend who is stranded somewhere in Mexico. Armstrong has also co-written the screenplay with Mike Gagerman and Andrew Waller. Paul Brooks (Pitch Perfect, Life As We Know It, Slither) is producing the project for Gold Circle Films, alongside Neal H. Moritz (Fast & Furious series, I Am Legend, 21 Jump Street) for Original Film, as well as Armstrong and Ravi Nandan for American Work. Search Party was originally set to be released in September by Universal Pictures and is currently awaiting a new release date.
