Intrada Records has announced the world premiere release of the complete score for the 1998 the horror thriller Deep Rising directed by Stephen Sommers and starring Treat Williams, Famke Janssen, Wes Studi and Djimon Hounsou. Paraphrasing composer. The film’s music is composed and conducted by Jerry Goldsmith (Planet of the Apes, Patton, The Omen, Alien, Star Trek: The Motion Picture) who would later on score the director’s hit adventure movie The Mummy. The album features around 30 minutes of previously unreleased music from the film, as well as an unused opening sequence as originally scored by composer.
