Silva Screen Records will release a soundtrack album for the British mini-series The White Queen. The album features selections from the series written by Emmy Award-winning composer John Lunn (Downton Abbey). The soundtrack will be released on June 30, 2014. The White Queen is based on Philippa Gregory’s historical novel series The Cousins’ War and stars Rebecca Ferguson, Max Irons, Janet McTeer, James Frain, Amanda Hale and David Oakes. The show about three women in their quest for power in the 15th Century premiered in the U.S. last year on Starz and was honored with three nominations at this year’s Golden Globe Awards.
