The details of the soundtrack album for the drama The Two Faces of January have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music written by Academy Award-nominated composer Alberto Iglesias (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The Constant Gardener, The Kite Runner). The soundtrack will be released on May 16, 2014 by Quartet Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Audio clips can be checked out below. The Two Faces of January is directed by Hossein Amini (screenwriter of Drive) and stars Viggo Mortensen, Kirsten Dunst and Oscar Isaac. The movie based on the novel by Patricia Highsmith (The Talented Mr. Ripley) follows a con artist, his wife and a stranger who try to flee a foreign country after one of them is caught up in the murder of a police officer. The drama premiered at this year’s Berlin Film Festival and will be released in the UK on May 16. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal, but the film will have its U.S. premiere next month at the Los Angeles Film Festival.
