Reinhold Heil is currently scoring the upcoming TNT original series Legends. The show is based on the award-winning book by Robert Littell and stars Sean Bean, Ali Larter, Rob Mayes, Tina Majorino, Steve Harris, Amber Valletta and Lux Haney Jardine. The spy drama follows an undercover FBI agent who is so adept at transforming himself into different identities that he begins to question his own. Howard Gordon (24) & Alexander Cary (Homeland) are executive producing the Fox 21 production with Jonathan Levin and Ethan Reiff & Cyrus Voris (Sleeper Cell, Bulletproof Monk). Jeffrey Nachmanoff (Hostages, The Day After Tomorrow) and Mark Bomback (Live Free or Die Hard, Unstoppable) who developed the story with Gordon serve as consulting producers. David Semel (Person of Interest) has directed the pilot episode. Legends is set to premiere on August 13, 2014 and the 10-episode season will air every Wednesday night on TNT. Heil whose previous scoring credits include such films as Cloud Atlas, The International, One Hour Photo and Perfume: The Story of a Murderer has recently finished scoring the first season of the Syfy original series Helix. The show has been renewed for a second season to air in 2015.
