Varese Sarabande has announced a soundtrack release for the A&E hit drama Bates Motel. The album features selections from the show’s original music composed by Chris Bacon (Source Code, Alpha & Omega, Smash). The soundtrack will be released on April 1, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The full soundtrack details will be posted on this page within the next couple of weeks. Bates Motel is created by Carlton Cuse, Kerry Ehrin & Anthony Cipriano and stars Freddie Highmore, Vera Farmiga, Max Thieriot, Olivia Cooke, Nicola Peltz, Nestor Carbonell and Mike Vogel. The show is a contemporary prequel to Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho and centers on Norman Bates during his teenage years, his relationship with his mother truly is and how she helped forge the most famous serial killer of them all.
