‘Cuban Fury’ Soundtrack Details

cuban-furyDecca Records will release a soundtrack album for the British romantic comedy Cuban Fury. The album features the Latin jazz and salsa music from the film by artists including Tito Puente, Sunlightsquare, Marc Anthony, Oscar D’Leon and more. Also included are two tracks from the movie’s original score composed by Daniel Pemberton (The CounselorThe Awakening). The soundtrack will be released in the UK on February 17, 2014. Cuban Fury is directed by James Griffiths and stars Nick Frost, Chris O’Dowd, Olivia Colman, Rashida Jones, Ian McShane, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Rory Kinnear, and Alexandra Roach. The movie about a man who reignites his long-dormant passion for salsa dancing after falling for his gorgeous American boss will be released overseas on February 14. Entertainment One has picked up domestic distribution rights and is expected to release the comedy later this year.

    When Bruce and Bejan first go into the club there a fantastic song playing but it’s not included on the soundtrack – why is this?
    Can’t find it anywhere 🙁

      on ITunes they actually have it under Willie Colon just as La Murga. It is a great song

    What’s the name of the track in 42:25, the scene when Bruce comes back from their bowling integration party and finds the salsa party flier. It kind of sounds like Ray Baretto – Power, when you look on the list of the track, but it’s not exactly that, at least when compared to the original.

    Any ideas?

      OK I actually found it, and it’s even one of the tracks on the OST. Daniel Pemberton – Get it together.
