Intrada Records has announced the world premiere release of the complete soundtrack for the 1961 classic Breakfast at Tiffany’s directed by Blake Edwards and starring Katherine Hepburn, George Peppard, Patricia Neal and Mickey Rooney. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Henry Mancini (The Pink Panther). The score was previously only available as a re-arranged version on an LP version from RCA. The album also features the Academy Award-winning song Moon River performed by Hepburn, as well as a number of bonus tracks, including alternate versions of the song. The label has also announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1993 action comedy So I Married an Axe Murderer directed by Thomas Schlamme and starring Mike Myers, Nancy Travis and Amanda Plummer. The film’s music is composed and conducted by Bruce Broughton (Silverado, Young Sherlock Holmes, Lost in Space). The album features the composers original score, as well as a number alternates, unused bits and source cues. The label’s third new release features two television score composed by Craig Safan. The album features the world premiere release of the score for the 1988 ABC pilot Remo Williams directed by Christian I. Nyby II and starring Jeffrey Meek, Roddy McDowall and Stephen Elliot. Also included is the composer’s music for the 1991 film Mission Of The Shark: The Saga Of The U.S.S. Indianapolis directed by Robert Iscove and starring Stacy Keach, Richard Thomas and David Caruso.
