Following our news article from earlier this week, it was revealed today that Hans Zimmer will serve as the executive score producer on the sci-fi adventure film Divergent. Junkie XL (aka Tom Holkenberg) is composing the score for the film based on Veronica Roth’s bestselling novel, directed by Neil Burger and starring Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Kate Winslet, Aaron Eckhart, Miles Teller, Ray Stevenson, Zoe Kravitz, Ansel Elgort, Jai Courtney, Ashley Judd and Maggie Q. The composer whose other previous and upcoming scoring credits include 300: Rise of an Empire, Mad Max: Fury Road, Paranoia has previously collaborated with Zimmer numerous times, providing additional music for such film as Man of Steel, The Dark Knight Rises, Madagascar series, Shark Tale and Megamind.
