Decca Records will release a soundtrack album for the indie drama Queen of Carthage. The album features the film’s original score written by Golden Globe-nominated composer Brian Byrne (Albert Nobbs, The Good Doctor) and performed by the RTE Concert Orchestra, Kristina Train and Danielle De Niese. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 8, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Audio clips can be checked out after the jump. Queen of Carthage is directed by Mardana M. Mayginnes and stars Keisha-Castle Hughes and Shiloh Fernandez who also co-wrote the screenplay and is producing the film, which follows an American drifter who discovers a New Zealand singer and develops an obsession for him. No release date for the drama has been announced yet.
