The de Luca Brothers have recently scored the upcoming romantic comedy Two Night Stand. The film is directed by Max Nichols and stars Miles Teller, Analeigh Tipton, Jessica Szohr, Kid Cudi and Leven Rambin. The movie centers on a pair of twentysomething strangers who are trapped together in an apartment after a Manhattan blizzard forces them to extend a regrettable one-night stand. Mark Hammer has written the script, which made the 2011 Black List. Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland, Gangster Squad) and Beau Flynn (Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, Journey to the Center of the Earth) are producing the project with Sam Englebardt & William D. Johnson (Byzantium, Zombieland) for Demarest Films. No word yet on a release date for the comedy.
The composer duo of Matthew and Neil de Luca are also scoring the indie thriller The Living. The film is written and directed by Jack Bryan and stars Kenny Wormald, Jocelin Donahue, Fran Kranz, Chris Mulkey and Joelle Carter. The movie follows a man who wakes up after a night of heavy drinking to realize he has severally beaten his wife. Laura DuBois and Josh Snyder are producing the project for Shooting Films. The Living is expected to premiere in 2014. Also coming up for the de Luca Brothers is the thriller Delirium. The film directed by Lee Roy Kunz and starring himself, alongside Beatrice Rosen, Julia Snigir, Cru Ennis and Tyler Shields follows the heir to a shipping fortune who wakes up to find that reality is dissolving around him with his sister kidnapped. The movie is also set for a 2014 premiere.
