Kritzerland has announced the world premiere release of the complete score for the 1986 horor sequel Poltergeist II: The Other Side directed by Brian Gibson and starring Craig T. Nelson, Jobeth Williams, Oliver Robins, Heather O’Rourke and Zelda Rubinstein. The music is composed and conducted by Academy Award-winning composer Jerry Goldsmith (The Omen, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Chinatown) who received an Oscar nomination for the original Poltergeist film. The 2-CD set features the complete film scores, as well as a number of track, including an alternate version of one of the new cues making its first appearance on the release. The soundtrack is limited to 1500 copies and is now available for pre-order on the label’s official website, where you can also listen to audio clips.
