David Hirschfelder is composing the score for the upcoming family action adventure Walking with Dinosaurs 3D. The film is directed by Neil Nightingale & Barry Cook (Mulan, Arthur Christmas) and follows two brothers looking to follow in their father’s footsteps, which leads them to a showdown with dinosaurs in the Arctic. Charlie Rowe has been cast in one of the leading roles. John Collee (Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World, Happy Feet) and Theodore Thomas wrote the screenplay and Mike Devlin, Amanda Hill and Deepak Nayar (Bend It Like Beckham, Lost Highway) are producing the BBC Earth, Evergreen Films and Reliance Big Entertainment production. The film is based on the BBC documentary series of the same title, which was scored by Ben Bartlett. Walking with Dinosaurs 3D is set to be released on December 20, 2013 by 20th Century Fox.
