Intrada Records has announced the world premiere release of the complete score for the 1965 WWII action adventure Von Ryan’s Express directed by Marc Robson and starring Frank Sinatra and Trevor Howard. The music is composed and conducted by Jerry Goldsmith. Also featured on the CD is the composer’s score for the 1968 cop thriller The Detective directed by Gordon Douglas and starring Frank Sinatra, Lee Remick and Robert Duvall. The label has also announced a new soundtrack release for the 1978 drama Five Days from Home directed by George Peppard who also stars in the film. The album features the expanded score from the film composed and conducted by Bill Conti (Rocky, The Thomas Crown Affair).
